Despite the large amount of going second cards you still go first if you win the coin toss.

This deck is pretty versatile and is pretty good at going both first and second, I have experimented with maxx C and I have found out that in a bo1 its not as bad in eldlich as people think, now that we play powersink stone, it builds up counters too, and you can normal summon it for ED plays.

I think super polymerization is the perfect board breaker for eldlich, as the discard cost isn't an issue when you have a lot of cards that like going to the GY, like any eldlich card or a bad floodgate in a certain match up, Saint azamina is a crucial target for breaking boards, as it can get rid of Baronne and Silvia while giving you a pretty annoying floodgate and a 4000 DEF body, and unlike a lot of other board breakers, if you draw it while going second you can simply set it and use it as disruption, and it can be used as eldlich fuel if its dead.

Evenly Matched is used to completely wipe your opponent's board after getting rid of their negates.

If you're gonna play this deck in a tournament I would recommend cutting Maxx C for something else, because if your opponent knows you're playing eldlich, Maxx C is pretty bad.
