Notes & Combos
This deck is very strong if you're lucky - "Psychic Rover" alone can keep you alive against Tenpai. Just one roll of the dice as desired and you can easily win the game! If you love gacha then you can play this deck it feels great.
Best OTK combo: "Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito" + "Psychic Rover". Mosquito attack first and place Counter on Attack Monster Opp, then "Psychic Rover" attack -> die -> reborn from GY -> attack -> reborn from GY -> .... 1 loop and you win the game by "Mosquito's" Trigger Effect Inflict DMG
"Spright" is still good, but not good enough to climb to Master I in the early part of the new season.
Top Secret Packs used
SS " Psychic Rover" if u go second or wanna OTK, I noted the OTK method with "Mosquito". On turn 1, you don't need to SS "Psychic Rove", just play normal combo Spright, but If u know Opp play Tenpai, u can SS "Psychic Rover" by "Gigantic Spright", you use "Psychic Rover" like free body to "Carrot" & "Red" tributte. The eff lock Extra Deck of "Psychic Rover" - It only happens when you summon it from GY by its own dice roll effect, consider carefully before using this effect or you can tribute it with "Enemy Controller", "Spright Smashers", "Carrot" Or "Red".
Have a copy of Psychic Rover and resisted the urge to dust it because it seemed interesting. Happy to see someone playing it!
I don't have 2x Nightmare Throne. Anything you would suggest subbing with? Or just replace the whole DBB engine with Lv 2 package of choice?
You can use "Piri Reis Map" or "Pot of Prosperity" instead of "Nightmare Throne". "Deep Sea Diva" or "Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier" instead of DBB engine. I think DBB engine is best & cheap now, you have 1 negate early with "Number 65: Djinn Buster", and "Opening of the Spirit Gates" is a good tool for recovering resources.
Throne is good too cause if you want to run a small yubel package it’s a free negate in POY and another search target if you hard draw DBB, though I think it’s fallen out of favour in this deck since there aren’t many other synergies, plus takes an extra deck slot
Play 1 Throne - it's okay. "Yubel Package" may make u brick. x2 - x3 Ipiria or Gammas also good idea
In my experience playing the yubel package you only use throne to get it out if you already have DBB, then you can insulate your plays with POY, but bricking on it made it not worth it, subbed out for Gamma even though Driver has this uncanny ability to always be in my opening hand in whatever deck I play it in.
Hero Kid package is really fun too, actually had a Tenpai player Imperm my normal summoned hero kid, proving once again Yugioh players do not read the cards.
I suggest replacing Throne with other cards because not everyone has UR points. Hero Kid is only good when both 2 or 3 copies are in the deck and Opp has no handtrap.
I have had a blast learning to play different Spright variants over the past couple months. I have yet to try with the Nimbles, but I like running the Melffy package to make Herald on opps turn. Most people rarely respect Catty and Melffy of the Forest too cuz they never know it also prevents a monster from attacking so solid counter against Tenpai, absolutely demolishes normal summoned Chundra, but that’s rarely all they do.
Was asking the original commenter cuz he said he was gonna dismantle it for UR dust but you can’t dismantle legacy pack cards. (Pls fix, Konami, wtf am I supposed to do with 7 copies of Ningirsu and Rhinosebus?)
