Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

What an annoying meta lol. It's getting hard out here for trap decks. Between our backrow getting popped our turn 1 now, and stuff like drillbeam, it's getting really hard out there. It's only going to get worse once things like Maliss come around... Overall I think I could take this deck to Master 1 again, but I have been wanting to experiment with some other decks coming up so I might take a break for that for now; but I'll go over some notes:

  • Ferret flames isn't in the list this time around... I love the card but it just doesn't feel impactful to me this time around. With blue eyes everywhere, they have 0 attack monsters they avoid it, they have ways to get blue eyes back even if you shuffle them into the deck, it loses to drill beam, and thats even IF it manages to stick around for you to use it and it doesn't get popped. It's definately great in certain matchups like Fiendsmith, but apart from that it is way too slow. It feels more like a side deck card than a main deck card right now.
  • I went a little more handtrap heavy in exchange. It does get rid of some consitency, but in exchange you are able to stop them from setting up to the point you can't even play.
  • Maxx "C" actually isn't that bad. Lots of combo decks now and it scares them bad. At worst it is Ash bait so your fusion traps can go through. Wanted to play 2 but just didn't want to cut anything for it.
  • Retaliating "C" is back. Actually got this idea from a Memento list I saw. I like it better than shifter honestly. It allows for rank 4 plays and access to "C" as a bonus. You can use it on roar vs BE, and it is still great against Azamina, Purrely, Memento, etc.
  • Bystials are great. They have carried games some times.
  • I would not run less than 3 Soul of Supreme King. Honestly against blue eyes sometimes it is better to prioritize this over Rexterm. It can win by itself.
  • Imperms can be a flex spot. I was using D.D. crow at one point which also isn't bad. Let's you banish drillbeam.
