Notes & Combos
Really fun strategy and the new cards are so much better. Takes a bit of getting used to the new lines but wanted to try this version out before adding more lines with FS (which i have waiting in the wings).
Went back and forth on my decklist but it's pretty much settled as of now regarding ratio's. 11 WF monsters and 17 s/t feels great for consistency.
Main deck:
- 2x of the new elzette is nice as sometimes it gets banished and no way to bring it back.
- 1x astellar would be sufficient but feel 2nd one increases consistency.
- Duster is completely optional but the deck does struggle vs backrow sometimes so gives an out sometimes and can be discarded when going first.
- Thrust and talents are interchangeable, I like having thrust as I hate drawing 2x talents and it lets you grab a tales in a pinch.
- Drawing into deception can be nice as it serves as ash bait before trying to combo.
- Tried aphes but rarely got to use it and woes is better if you get maxx c/fuwalos'd.
- Toys is a decent option but can be kinda bad if you don't open astellar.
- Droll is useful sometimes and deck loses hard to it so having option to cross-out can save you. 1x could also suffice. Same with fuwalos.
- I tried nib, bystials, evenly and extra board breakers but found them to be ok but wasn't getting the right hands.
Extra Deck:
All pretty standard but I pulled Moa and decided want to take it for a spin with saint. It's ok but chimera likely the better option.
- Saint is great as a floodgate, had a 40 min duel vs chimera fs and they really struggled to out it or make any plays. Also lets you pull out a fusion monster on summon so can grab Moa or Silvia.
- Elf rarely came up for me but I wasn't really sure when to use it sometimes.
- Cross-sheep is awesome.
- Artemis great for SP banish and nothing else. Other options would be Amritara which if I was running chimera in the ED I would consider swapping in.

18 rounds chimera duel deffs the highlight but I misplayed a few times in there so learn from my mistakes.
