Notes & Combos
T1 endboard is Zebufera + bagooska + ip + linguriboh off selettrice + scale + discard or antyhing that gets to that (so a lot of cards combinations). The gy setup is scelta + intonare, you can search trap instead of having intonare in rotation but then the board loses the bagooska, also you might miss a counter because trap isn't immediate counters.
Of course thru interrupts it can only become a bagooska but if you baited the imperm it's likely that they still lose, because bagooska with selettrice under + scales is guaranteed followup.
Linguriboh is self explanatory when you instalose to imperm and evenly.
Imo chosen melody is not needed, imperm is good because you can activate it from hand and the second effect is interesting but you probably still lose in modern yugioh.
In the beginning the tactics were handtraps, but considering how much good engine the deck plays and how it also can pass after an ash, the draw 2/ check hand effects are way too good not to play the card. Also i prefer handtraps for that but the card is also good going second, and is also a good sixth card.
Blue tears has the same characteristics, becomes engine when you go first because you pitch it and set trap for free after a vaal normal spell, and is also a going second card that gives you counters.
Mathmech package may be the most important thing, they give access to link decoder and devotee who cheat 1 card in hand, 1 body on board and allow you to get the linguriboh. Also they're level 4 so if you draw them you can just use them as extenders and go for usual vaal stuff. Mulptiplication because sometimes duralume can't kill so you whip out your 10k accesscode, it actually came up on the m5 rankup. If used turn intonare can add it back to hand from gy to have it again.
Also i have to stress how good sp is in this deck, it can banish your first zebufera allwing it to activate again in bp, and become another one in bp when opp wants to attack into it, allowing you to get the effect 3 times.
The deck can play apollousa, if you go full combo you have enough material, even more likely if you have field because it can simply take material from opponent, but i never was making it because sp is also so much better into tactics.
I'll post replays when i continue the climb, which actually happened earlier this month.

same question!! really curious, i see a line for bagooska + zebufera + i:p (by sending intonare off versare and copying it with angello), but i dunno where the 1 extra material for linguriboh comes from

Do normal combo until you have both pend + Selletrice on field (searching Intonare if you don't have it yet ). Use Intonare now if you have any monster in GY ( first activation on Intonare can be any body even a Maxx C or Ash ).
Do not use Angello yet ( Angello will copy Intonare when you only have level 4 in GY, in this version Intonare is super important because you get to use it twice ).
Dimonno + Selletrice goes into Alembertian. Search Cirular. If you didn't use Intonare ( the spell, not the copy) then use it now to summon back Dimono. SS circular. link it to Disciple.( WARNING: use Angello to copy Intonare NOW since past that point you won't have only level 4 in GY anymore and you will need an extra level 4 for Bagooska) . Alembertian tribute self to ss circular again. link to Devotee. you can then tribute devotee to summon 2 tokens. Use one token for Linguriboh. Disciple to Zebufera. Use the other token + the first monster summoned from Intonare I:P. You should still have Angello + W/E you summoned from Angello copying Intonare. XYZ both to Bagooska.
This deck has less consistent access to the trap card due to you having to get Intonare in the rotation BUT the bagooska board is way stronger.

thank you for the response!! though, the way you've described it here only procs dimonno's scale effect twice; once off of the initial activation of scelta to search invitare, and once off of dimonno copying scelta to search intonare. do you need to open an additional card (versare, disarmonia, or invitare/scelta/intonare to save a search) to self-burn for another 500, or is there something i'm missing here?

You ideally open with an extra vaal spell or Blue Tears yeah. I don't have all the combo lines to get enough counter + Intonare in head anymore (I should probably notepad them down) . It changes depending on what spell cards you open. The less spells/vaal you have in hand, the less likely you are to get the trap in the rotation, and may have to sacrifice Followed Rhythm just to get a card that is immediate counters like as OP posted.
