When everyone's running 30 handtraps, being able to win without activating a monster effect is pretty handy.

I started playing titanocider over lost wind and was a really big fan, dropping to 0 and perma-negating came up a lot, and the infinite recursion was very helpful. I chose not to run hope for escape because I felt like I had enough draw power with morganite, judgment, and traptantalizing, and if I see too much draw power turn 1 I probably can't survive til next turn. Didn't bother with threatening roar 'cause 75% of the deck beats tenpai anyway.
Tips:
Never give up, if you can make it one more turn, stick with it. I've won unwinnable games because my opp timed out.
Anomalocaris is way more impressive than he looks, if you have a chance to get to him, you probably should.
