Notes & Combos
Only 1 Effect Veiler, 1 Ghost Ogre, 2 Imperm, and 2 Maxx "C" are included to increase deck consistency on turn 1.
Anti-Spell is optional. It's a gamble and should preferably be used only if you have Nightmare Pain up or a strong follow-up play. If so, activate it right away to force your opponent into using whatever spells they can (e.g., forcing early Droplet or Called by the Grave if they have it and want to use it).
Feather Duster is optional. I prefer to include it just in case, but it does lower consistency on turn 1.
The best way to OTK on turn 3 is by using Soul of Anguish’s effect to summon Accesscode Talker and then linking into Abomination with your leftover monsters.
Lastly, Artifact Scythe and Artifact Dagda usually only work if you have an extra body, as Cross-Sheep won’t be necessary anymore for Apollousa (usually achieved via Nightmare Throne and/or Spirit Gates).
Note: This is because we want Apo.
The general sequence is to link into Artifact Dagda, then use the remaining resources to link into Yama, which will trigger Dagda’s effect, setting Artifact Scythe face-down on your field. If you have Sharvara in your hand, this won’t work, as the effect must be triggered on the field. You can achieve this with effects from Nightmare Throne, Nightmare Pain, Spirit Gates, or any other ON-FIELD effect. If Artifact Scythe is in your hand, you can skip this and set it face-down directly.
You usually trigger Artifact Scythe by destroying it with Soul of Rage’s revive effect. In the worst-case scenario, you can use your own Unchained Trap to destroy it if needed. If the opponent destroys it, that will also trigger its effect, but be cautious of Imperm and Called by the Grave.
Best/Ideal End Board: Apo, Soul of Rage, Phantom of Yubel, and D Lotus, with Scythe ready to be destroyed.
