Notes & Combos
The climb was super easy, think it took 3 days to get from D5 to M1 which was weird because I felt like the new decks were undoubtedly stronger and yet I dunno, I guess the deck is pretty good at putting people down once it gets going so it didn't make too much of a difference. If you had limited firepower but more pushing power then you probably felt the new season turn harder but RDAs always had low pushing power and sky high firepower so when we get cucked we were always gonna get cucked whereas nothing changed about our end boards being brutal to play through. Except for one thing, Supernova did not see any use this season. I love him but it's so hard to have him banish multiple targets this season that it's not even funny. Engraver sending the equip-link to the GY outs him unless you use the big pop and then you'll have used it for a single target. Instead I've been using Trishula, doesn't even have half the aura of Supernova but Trish banish is just way more reliable most of the time. He hits the board and you can choose any card face up or down, spell or trap immediately unlike Supernova which can be circumvented, he hits the GY which messes recursion badly and then also hits the hand and in case the opponent has already used some of their engine or hand traps then they're almost certainly cooked. I also have this exceedingly funny tip, if you are playing against Snake-Eyes and you're stuck with the Scarred + Gaia, Red zone board try to fill up the backrow. Their ability to turn you into a spell is actually imperative to them beating your one guy which is funny but true because their ED space is more tight than ever they don't have a whole bunch of good beaters any more.
Anyway, most important part is this: I am running this deck at 60 EXCLUSIVELY because it's more fun but there's not a doubt in my mind that it is objectively worse. Droll and Ash are so powerful this season that you just gotta be seeing them as often as you possibly can. If you can cut it down to 50ish then you're gonna have more success certainly.
Can't wait for the new Centurions, I was always more of a RDA Cent fan than RDA Cent Bystial fan
