Notes & Combos
I really wanted to build this deck because I used to enjoy the mix of control and combo ABC used to represent when Union Carrier was still legal, even when its consistency issues were always a big source of frustration. The new XYZ cards force the deck into a far more combo heavy lane.
The all in approach on combo however, just doesn't work very well right now, when Droll and Fuwalos are everywhere. The light lock is a real problem as well, because there just are no good light Extra Deck monsters that you can make to end on a low ceiling board, that don't require additional Garnets, which is a problem when the deck is forced to play 9 bricks.
The most fun I've had with this deck was trying to figure out the combo lines that work in Solo mode, playing it in ranked was mostly just really frustrating, because the engine is just not strong enough to compete, as you can also tell by the fact that the deck's win rate just isn't positive, especially against the top decks.
