Notes & Combos

High risk, high reward! There is the agressive Runick/Spright Deck I worked on :)

Notes Main Deck:

I really tested a lot. I used a lot of cards in the Master Rank but I didn´t grind that much to reach Master I (Master II was a bit tricky). Sorcerer for the GY banishment (in best case 4 cards on one turn, chain link 1 activation!), Crystal Rose combo with Spright Sprind to get the Princess after reborning a fire monster with her in the grave turn 1/3 using then Sprind to send Rose (or sth else if Rose is already in the GY) to go for Gigantic (turn 1 is a risk cause of Nibiru) and Ipiria ofc for the draw. Maximum Maxx "C" counter.

Flex spots are the Imperm cards. You can put in more Runick cards, Handtraps (or Maxx "C"/Fountain protection with Bell/Lancea) or Board/Backdoor Breaker like Evenly/Duster/TTT. For me Imperm feels like the best way to interrupt your opponent and at least 10 Handtraps in the Deck for going second. It´s up to you.

ED Notes:

Route 1 with Gamma on the board (Gamma needs to be banished then on the field!) or hand -> ELF, Lambda, I:P, at least a Carrot to reborn; Negate a monster effect with Gamma, reborn ELF choosing Carrot (if needed or later on something else if you have a "God" board), chain I:P for Apo (3/4 monster negates) or S:P in some cases. No Starter shoot before you summon Gamma or Apo!

Route 2 without Gamma -> ELF, Pitknight pointing to Carrot, I:P; Otherwise Red, Carrot, I:P at least

If you are getting negated much you need to be creative to do the best out of your turn (mainly ELF with Pitknight pointing to Carrot or I:P with Red or only ELF with Red/Carrot) and then ofc it is situational what you hold on your hand (Runick cards if you have the Fountain on the board, Maxx "C", Ash,...). You can play through 1-3 negates as long as you not get a Maxx "C" or Droll without negating it. It depends on your starting hand. Play around Nibiru if you can and sometimes take the destiny draw with Ipiria over Gigantic.

Flex spot is the Phoenix. It´s the agressive/grinding way to play it. Mainly good for the co-link with Apo, S:P or Princess or to get the Princess a second time in the GY (turn 5) or if you used Sprind for sth else with Pitknight already then you gonna need a fire ED monster to get her in the GY (turn 3).

Tank/leathal options fire monster: Amblo, Raging

Grinding option: Pure Light

Body option fire monster: Hiita

Runick options: Geri, Sleipnir, Hugin

I found 2 flashing fire kinda interesting, I suppose it's just for consistency but... IDK, I might replace an imperm with a flashing fire :D

Yeah....it is for consistency though....soon or later you gonna brick on three Flashing Fire hitting two on your starting hand which you just don't want to happen at first and with maximum two cards each with one starter card like Golden Droplet....it feels better and won't happen that much....the ratio of 13 runick cards to 16 starter with the Gamma gamble is enough in general....the top tier decks can play like 10-15 handtraps besides some tech cards and Called or Crossout.....more often 12-15 and that is why they are good though to put them in not loosing the numbers and that's it😁.....11 is just the maximum I could build not to loose ratio going first or combo potential....if you have success with the change it's fine as I said in my text before😊.....btw with centurion....Flashing Fire won't be better to use....maybe you need these 2 spots for evenly then....have to wait how often it will be played but I guess like all new packs at start a lot🤣

Now there are more good replays.....the last one is the grind play against Rescue Ace and he randomly drawed into turbulence....I missplayed though to timer pressure twice at least I guess but still won....banish the driver would be the better option maybe and don't destroy that card....to much to deal for him and the ED was loaded for more follow up

Hey, I was the Evil Eye player you fought in Master! This was a cool deck, I hadn't seen the crystal rose tech before.

Is there anything you'd replace with smashers? Would you consider running 41/42 cards?

The numbers are so close here in the build.....mathematics🤣....in fact if I decide to play smashers....I would indeed play 41 cards cause its better not to cut a handtrap or something else
