Ping me in the true draco channel if you have any questions!
This is the optimal TD list you can play currently imo
Most of the other lists on this website are terrible
This format was miserable to climb in I was at master 2 like 11 days ago then lost 10 games in a row going second and dropped all the way back to master 5
We auto lose to the two most frequent decks In master kash and FS SE going second
Same list from my master 5 list but switched unending and judgement for 3 strike
3 strike is a mandatory 3 of in the deck its so good going first and going second
3 super ancient because you need cards that help going second

Draco's gameplan involves accumulation of card advantage over time by making interactions that go net positive with the opponent's cards. The deck is at its most vulenerable during the early turns of the game, and having a functionally 4-5 card hand to start with (depending on turn order) is particularly undesirable. Morganite exacerbates this issue and don't net you positive card advantage until your 3rd turn, and the most pressing concern is making it to that point in the first place.
Fissure also sucks it does nothing going second and we dont want our monsters to get banished

Recently converted TD player, thanks to you. What are some of the most vital chokepoints to use cards like Solemn on? I feel like some decks, like Azamina, do too much and I can't find a way to keep them down even with all the backrow.

You just have to learn how to sequence your plays correctly
The hardest part of playing TD is resisting the urge to early scoop going second. a board can look untouchable but good ordering a little baiting and a single mistake from your opponent and you're going into turn 4 By then you've got gates up and hopefully repeated searches for spells/traps for off turn removal and combat stuff.
TD also has the problem where it's super easy to over extend and it often just automatically loses you the game All the cards interact with themselves in specific weird ways
You have to learn damage step stuff to play this deck optimally
