Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

M5 -> M4 (deranked after the first 3 games after losing all 3 flips) -> M5 -> M1

Ended up getting to M1 on the 20th. Just hadn't gotten around to writing up the decklist synopsis.

Took out a Strike and added Shifter to hopefully give myself another turn ender to be able to play while going second. It was ok. Sometimes, it basically won the game, sometimes, I still lost since I couldn't build a strong enough board or my opponent was able to build a slight board that was still too much, or it was nothing (against decks that didn't care or my 6th+ draw)

The Bystials were still solid enough, although, they definitely won't win you the game on their own (barring potentially Tear).

Double Ogre was fine. Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon being an out to the negative effect of True Light is just a bit pepega though.

The Zoodiacs were a bit better this season than others. They're still helpful against Kash if you are able to get to them to clear the board, however, they were also nice against Blue-Eyes to get through Tyrant/Spirit Dragon/Ultimate Spirit Dragon. Just have to watch out for Veilers, but hopefully your other cards took the hits for you already.

Aussa can still be anything else. I have a royal now, so I need to play her until I really need to swap her out for something better. Most games you'll lose are going second and there's not really a going second ED card that can get you back into the game against decks... soo. Dweller is still probably a solid choice to run if you want something more useful for the grind games.

Didn't actually save anything in Master. Nothing seemed super great overall. Maybe I should have kept the Tenpai game where I drew basically nothing but handtraps, a few traps, and no names for... 5? turns and won still since it was constant sweating.

All of the games from previous ranks/seasons are still there.

If you have any suggestions for specific things you'd like to see for replays (with what I'm playing), let me know, and it might help me feel like a game is save worthy.
