Notes & Combos
Same list I reached M5 with, no changes made during my climb. Some notes:
-For as good and consistent the deck is, the two engines do not bridge between eachother aside from Beryl making the link-1. I added 2x piri reis map precisely because I saw too many hands that had no access to the BE engine.
-Always ensure you have an omni negate on board to counter board breakers. It's usually worth it to use true light or spirit dragon in draw phase to protect your backrow.
-The format has yet to settle. If people start playing ghost ogre, droll etc, the deck will struggle and you will have to adjust the list accordingly.
-Ultimate fusion is a board breaker, interruption and a bonus target for wishes. Without the tyrant package, the deck is much worse in grind games.
-Master duel tax unfortunately limits your non engine options. Dominus purge + TTT would be excellent otherwise.
-Very minimalist extra deck. I've yet to be convinced that crimson dragon is worth playing. Especially when it technically ends in less interaction than two spirit and hampers your follow up.
-Only additions worth making to the extra deck are Lightstorm dragon (when it gets added) and underworld goddess (deck can prevent towers, but can't out them).
