Notes & Combos

I suffered through Master 5 through master 2 with a more pure version of the deck, but I kept on deranking, so I switched back to old faithful for April 2025.

A couple of things:

  1. I have no direction on which way I want to use the Fiendsmith bodies. If I ever get to the point where I can actually get ED Lacrima out, I don't even have an XYZ to go into. But that doesn't usually happen because people burn a ton of disruption on stopping the Fiendsmith stuff.
  2. Millenium is still goated. The millenium package uninterrupted is lethal on an open field as long as you have a normal summon, and it's Nib proof. I got a couple of OTKs that way on my climb. Again, this is to bait interruption before the AG plays.
  3. As with Fiendsmith, I still have no ways to actually utilize these bodies outside of OTKing. But I have considered running Photon Lord again to try and insulate against Nibiru.
  4. The observant among you may realize that I have forgone Geartown. It doesn't feel good to draw, and the only ways to trigger it early are a normal summoned Tanker or the catapult (I'm running one of each). Instead, I prioritize searching as many fortresses as I can get away with so I can still reduce attack with Ballista and swarm the field.
  5. My thoughts on using Fiendsmith bodies: Caesar is a classic, and can definitely handle Nibiru, Evolzar Lars is really good, and a really neat tech that would be fun is Fairy Knight Ingunar.
