Notes & Combos
- You like cuteness of the birds? You like having a budget meta-viable to climb the ladder of the Cup because you have no money left?
=>This is the solution for you! Floowandereeze + Handtraps (A lot)
- In my personal experiences, with the crazy combo meta like now, Handtraps is a must. When I climbed from LV 1 to 12, I use a more floodgates style deck, and I got stuck at LV 12. I started to throw in a bunch of handtraps and it worked!
- The (basic) combos of this deck, you can check out at @TheDuelLogs on YT
- The full detailed combos can be seen at the spreadsheet on the Floowandereeze channel on MDM's Discord.
- If you want to play a more floodgate version, check out the decklist of @panpan_play on YT
Note:
Dimension Shifter can be activated on the 2nd turn (if you draw it), but will disrupt the BoM effect of DT.
Another tech card in this is Harpie Feather Storm (you can run at two to loop), if you draw this card, make sure summon Eglen/Toucan first (in case of being disrupted), this card is basically a skip-turn card for opponent. This card is also extremely good against mirror match, which is nearly nonexistant in this meta. (And you can put it back to the deck again using Raiza effect)
-
About some difficult match-ups in DC I encountered: Basically every deck. (Yubel has a card that changes the effect of the birds and a spell that force you to attack; Blue-Eyes have the Buster Blader thingy that also negate all monsters effects; negate boards; etc). So don't be disheartened if you face some bad match-ups. (Be a chill guy).
-
Another detriment in this deck is "brick", but the handtraps will stall you enough time I guess.
-
The extra deck is mainly for Pot, but sometimes it may come to clutch, especially Knightmare Unicorn.
If you're reading my whole essay until now, congratulations you are wasting a lot of time.
