Notes & Combos

My DL Max Blue eyes deck. Took the mathematician package from Jesse Kotton. It felt okay. When you drew a hand that could send snow AND snow came up in the game, it felt great. Snow often didn't come up though. I went with baldrake over druiswurm which honestly really good, it just felt bad opening bad opening druiswurm going second. might be correct to run both. IDK im bad at the game. Anima was okay, definitely at it's best going into S:P

Super fun Deck. I'd love a more trap focused variant as Tyrant carried somewhat frequently. I tried the crimson dragon and synchro rumble package. I think that package is pretty equivalent to this extra, but rumble really felt "win more".

I've also tried a magia package. I prefer magia as an option rather than the whole strategy. Going all the way in on magia often leads to just folding to well placed handtraps. My current magia build is pretty similar to this, opting for a grindy control variant rather than a combo version. That said, i run 45 cards with 3 Magicians souls, 3 illusion of chaos, and im tinkering with 3 small world as I still want to summon magia as often as possible. Only feels bad when you only have blue eyes in hand with it. running a single droll in that build as an additional bridge.

All in all, I was surprised at just how well the deck keeps up with the meta. I currently have found this to be the most dependable build for me personally. Will probably tinker some more
